Job Description
Principles is looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage the full procurement cycle on our projects, including developing procurement plans, preparing RFQs and tender packages, negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders and agreements, and tracking budgets and status reports.
Core Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering
• 7+ years of procurement experience in construction, fit‑out or building projects
• Solid knowledge of construction materials, MEP and finishing items
• Strong negotiation and commercial evaluation skills
• Good understanding of contracts, subcontract terms and FIDIC
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills for bid analysis and tracking
• Excellent English, with strong communication skills
• CIPS or a similar procurement certification is a plus
