Job Description

The university is looking for a Head of Programming and Systems Development to oversee the analysis, design, development, and operation of academic university systems, including admission, registration, grading, administrative, financial, and student affairs systems. The role requires leading an Agile/Scrum development team, supervising web, desktop, and mobile application development, designing and managing databases with Oracle and MySQL, and ensuring business continuity through backup and disaster recovery policies.

Core Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university. • Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM I or higher) with a valid certificate. • At least seven years of software development experience, including at least three years of leading development teams or technical supervision. • Proficiency in PHP (Laravel), C# (.NET), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. • Advanced experience with Oracle (PL/SQL) and MySQL databases. • Experience managing Linux servers, Git version control, and Agile project management tools. • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. • Must be Jordanian nationality.
